The Sidney Street Market starts this Thursday May 18th!
Knacker’s Yard will be performing from 5:30-8PM every Thursday (May 18th – August 31st) at the Market. Find us at the corner of Beacon Ave and 3rd Street (in front of the 3rd St. Cafe).
Lots of local music, arts, crafts, food, beer and cider from Vancouver Island vendors!

Thanks to everyone who joined us at the Metchosin Community House on May 12th for an evening of music! We had a wonderful time, as always. Thanks to our Metchosin fans!
We will be returning to perform at the Metchosin Bandwagon Music Night on Friday May 26th, 2017.
For all who have not yet been, The Metchosin Bandwagon is hosted at the Metchosin Golf Club (4100 Metchosin Road). The event is all ages, licensed with bar and kitchen.
Music from 7-9PM, admission at the door $5-10 donation.

In addition to our two sets at the 154th Victoria Highland Games, Knacker’s Yard have organized two evening events during the long weekend, in order to help out touring bands performing at the Games as well as provide evening entertainment for lovers of Celtic music and dance!
These events are meant to enhance the Highland Games experience by offering two evenings of traditional music, story telling, and dance. The concerts feature Knacker’s Yard, and the Victoria Irish Dancers, with special musical guests Old Black Rum on May 19th, and Vancouver’s Blackthorn on May 21st. Knacker’s Yard are proud to have Stephen Johnson (Nanaimo, BC) accompany them at these concerts on accordion, Irish flute and tin whistle.
Both evening concerts will be held downtown at the The Victoria Event Center located at 1415 Broad St., Victoria, BC. The shows are all ages licensed events, bar service for 19+ with ID.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door for each evening. Kids 12 and under are free! Tickets can be obtained from: ticketpeak.com/slainte

Knacker’s Yard hits the road again! The band will be returning to Port Alberni to perform at the Rainbow Room on April 28th (See posters for details). Afterwards the band rolls up to Ucluelet to perform on April 29th with locals ‘Glass Half Full’ at the AN&AF legion hall. Come out and support touring bands and live music! For fans of The Dubliners, Wolfe Tones, Pogues, Planxty and all lovers of traditional folk music from England and the Celtic Nations!
