“The High Street Demo” is the first demo recording by Knacker’s Yard. This demo was recorded live off the floor during a rehearsal in January 2014. While only being a small portion of the band’s early repertoire, the songs on this demo provide an interesting cross-section of songs. The themes of the songs range from lost love, emigration and the mistreatment of emigrant labour, rambling and hard drinking.
